hmmmm...soy sauce is something that is always in our kitchen, Kris. hahaha. i love adding it into almost all of the dishes..i lessen the salt, though.
sardine fried rice? firs time i've heard of it! looks real easy to make, too. guess it has to be the sardine with tomato sauce, huh? ;)

If I may make a suggestion...
Reduce the sardines with its sauce separately to thicken it and to intensify the flavor. That way, the sauce is just enough to coatt the rice.
Canned sardines are great to have in a pantry. I like to mix sardines in oil with boiled potato&vinegar for a warm potato salad.
Oh the thought is making me hungry...
BTW, I saw rice cookers sold at larger Chinese markets in Bp.

Guess what? i've replenish some sweet potatoes, they're now kept safely in the fridge. You should really look for it in Cora ;)
